How to save your family money
I have always been known as a bargain hunter. I refuse to buy
anything at regular price and love knowing that I got the best
bargoon out there. I pride myself in knowing that I paid the best
price. I am a pretty handy person so I try to do as much as I can
before I pay someone else.
Why pay regular price if you don't have to. Click here for my
favourite websites for saving money and links to freebies and
coupons.
Several years ago I took a Cake Decorating Course as a way to
get away from the hubby and kids for a  couple of hours. Who
knew this would be the most practical course I've taken since
University.
Hair Cutting
When my oldest son was almost one, my father-in-law gave him
the most horrendous haircut. I wish I had taken a picture of it for
posterity. We rushed to the barber right away and he managed to
fix it before Andrew's birthday party the next day.

It cost us $15 to cut a baby's hair! I couldn't believe it. So the next
time he needed a haircut I decided to do it myself. What's the
worse that could happen...it grows back, right? Well...eight years
later, I'm cutting my entire family's hair even my money towards
other things.
Being Environmentally Conscious
Recently I watched the movie An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore
and it really opened my eyes to the state of our world. There have
been so many programs about the environment but this show
was the most disturbing to me. Being
environmentally friendly
can save our world but it can also save us money.
Have a shopping network
We all love a bargain so why not share when you find one. I
always let me friends and family know when there is an amazing
special or sale out there. If the sale is extraordinary, I will even
buy several items so my friends can benefit too. They will
appreciate it and may do the same for you.
